Half term homework

Your homework this half term.

In literacy half next term, we will be looking at traditional tales. Your task over the holidays is to research your favourite traditional tale, e.g. Hansel and Gretel, Goldilocks and the Three Bears or Little Red Riding Hood. You may choose to research a traditional tale from a different culture, such as the Anansi stories. Re-tell this story in a creative way. For example, you may choose to role-play and then video it, create a story board or re tell the tale from a different point of view. Explain why this is your favourite traditional tale.

    Mia Red Riding hood

Once upon a time there lived a girl called Mia red riding hood. One day her mum told Mia red riding hood to take a basket of food to her grandmothers because she was not feeling well.
On the way, Mia red riding hood saw a sly wolf who wanted to eat her. So the wolf tricked her. He told Mia red riding hood to pick some flowers from the green grass so the wolf could get to the house first.
When Mia red riding hood open the door grandma was locked in the cupboard and the wolf was in grandmas night dress and hat under the blanket on grandmas bed. Little red riding hood said what big teeth you have the better to eat you with!
Then a wood cutter past then house and heard screaming, ran and pushed the door open and chased the wolf into the forest and never come back.

    The end

    Mia.
I chose this story because its funny, the wolf was very sly and cheeky. My favourite part is when the wolf jumps out of the bed to try and eat red riding hood.
I also like the story because my mum used to read it to me when i was younger.
