Green Plants

In Science this term, we have been looking at green plants. We are now able to identify key parts to a plant and we also know how to keep a plant healthy. Yesterday we took a look inside different fruits to see where seeds came from. We were very surprised to see that a tiny strawberry had more seeds than a banana!

We were also investigating different types of seeds – below are some pictures of seeds we were categorising by shape, colour and size! We looked at pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds golden linseeds and sesame seeds. Some of Amber class had never seen these seeds before!
